Kahoka Woman Hurt in Crash Near Gorin

A Kahoka woman suffered minor injuries in a two-car collision on Peterson Road, three miles south of Gorin at 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lori A. Doyle, 44, was westbound on the gravel road in a 2003 Ford Escape when the car met an eastbound 2004 GMC Envoy at the crest of a hill. The two vehicles collided head on.

Doyle was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital. The driver of the second vehicle, Charlene J. See, 59, of Gorin, was not injured.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff's Office, the ambulance service and Gorin First Responders.

See's vehicle sustained extensive damage while the Doyle vehicle was totaled. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Lakeside Towing of Memphis.
