AD Mike Alden to Headline MU Booster Event in Memphis

Two local favorites will be combined for one night of fun as area boosters will have an opportunity to learn more about University of Missouri Athletics while enjoying a famous Keith's Cafe steak.

Mizzou's Statewide Outreach program will make a stop in Memphis Thursday, August 6th for dinner at Keith's with MU Athletic Director Mike Alden.

Alden is no stranger to area MU boosters, as he has been making the trip annually to northeast Missouri to meet with the school's supporters in the Memphis region.

The event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Ticket cost is $25. For more information contact organizer, Dr. Harlo Donelson at 465-7770.

"Reservations are recommended, but we want to pack the house to show our support for MU, so we encourage you to make plans to attend," Donelson stated.

Alumni, boosters and Tiger fans from across the area are invited to share dinner with Alden and his fellow University of Missouri representatives. Following the meal, the MU crew will present information to the attendees and host a question and answer session.

Mike Alden has served as the athletic director at MU 1998. During his tenure, the school has experienced both athletic and academic success, not to mention the historic transition into the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in July 2012.
