Arbela Man Hurt in Crash in Memphis
An Arbela man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash in Memphis early Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jeremy T. Hamlin, 36, of Memphis was northbound on Hamilton Street in a 2006 Ford pickup when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the roadway and struck an embankment near the city water plant.
A passenger in the vehicle Douglas W. Brown, 50, of Arbela, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. He was transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital.
The crash, which occurred at 1:31 a.m., is under investigation by the Patrol.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was removed from the scene by Lakeside Towing.
