HAROLD JAMES (CASEY) LOWE
(9/27/1937 - 12/27/2012)



Harold James (Casey) Lowe, age 75, of Edina, MO, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012, in the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.

He was born September 27, 1937, at Rutledge, MO, the son of Kenneth and Isabelle Kintner Lowe.

He was united in marriage to Betty Lay on October 1, 1960, in Edina, MO.

Surviving are his wife Betty Lowe of Edina, MO; three children, Debbie Mathews and Ben McKay of Knox City, MO, Carl Lowe of Baring, MO, Ron Lowe and Donna of Quincy, IL; nine grandchildren, Jessie Hunolt and Eric, Amy Manyx and Brian, Ryan Mathews, Jordan McKay, Brooke Lowe and Ryan Bishop, Brett Lowe and Tara, Bailey Lowe, Ashley and Aaron Lowe; seven great-grandchildren, Kimber and Adrian Hunolt, Kierra and Tristan Manyx, Preslie and Harper Bishop, and Blakeleigh Lowe; three sisters Joyce Reed of Houston, TX, Janice Hiles and Bill of Kansas City, KS, and Margaret Mathena and Max of Port Byron, IL; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Casey received his education in Rutledge rural schools and Memphis High School. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a farmer and had his own bulldozer business. He also worked for Horner Construction at Canton, MO.

Mr. Lowe's wishes were to be cremated. Memorial services were held on Sunday, December 30, 2012, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.

Honorary bearers were Ryan Mathews, Brett Lowe, Eric Hunolt, Brian Manyx, Ryan Bishop and Aaron Lowe.

Visitation was held Sunday, December 30, 2012, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
