MARGUETT WEAR HARRINGTON
(10/30/1924 - 02/23/2013)



Marguett Wear Harrington, 88 years old, of La Belle Manor Care Center in La Belle, was taken by the Lord on February 23, 2013. Marguett was born on October 30, 1924 to Clarence and Anna Gooding. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved to play bingo, and listened to country music. She lived in Springfield, Illinois for many years. Then later in life she moved to La Belle Manor Care Center where she spent her final days. She also enjoyed many other activities they had at La Belle manor Care Center.

Marguett was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Anna Gooding, two sons, Paul and Norman Wear, one grandson, Paul Wear II, two brothers, Martin and Hersel Gooding, and two husbands, Floyd Wear, whom she married on August 6, 1942. After his passing of several years, she then married Earl Harrington.

Marguett is survived by a sister, Marlene and husband Walt Carrier of Gorin; brother, Kenneth and wife Barbara Gooding of Camp Point, Illinois; two daughters, Judy Littleton and fiancÚ Don Miller of Gorin, and Patty and husband Bobby Rice of Springfield; two sons, Mike Wear of La Belle, and Jerry and wife Sherry Wear of Camp Point, Illinois; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be buried at New Loraine Cemetery in New Loraine, Illinois at later date. Marguett was a loving and caring person, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by everyone.
