Becky Adams, 55, of Unionville, MO, passed away Monday morning, March 18, 2013, unexpectedly at her home in Unionville, Missouri. The daughter of Paul and Vera (Scott) Martin, she was born June 18, 1957 in Keosauqua IA.

In 1975 she married Frank Combs. They made their home in Winnigan, MO and had two children: Penny and Jason. She later was blessed with two more children Nickole Adams and Scott Moore.

She enjoyed living in the country and riding horses. She also liked spending time cooking along with sewing and making quilts for her family.

She had several jobs throughout her life including food processing, restaurant and factory work.

She was preceded in death by her infant son Terry Moore, Jr., her parents and one nephew, Scott Eugene Barnett.

She is survived by her children, Jason Combs of Sublette, Penny Wheeler and Nickole Adams of Kirksville and Scott Moore of Unionville; six grandchildren, Alysha, Gabe, and Warren Combs, along with Terry Lee, Jessica, and Trent Yardley; two sisters, Chris (Ronnie) Tinkle of Memphis, and Jackie (James) Barnett, of Fairfield, IA; one nephew, Matthew Tinkle along with his daughters, Matison and Renee Tinkle all of Memphis; several cousins and friends.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to the family to defer the expenses and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating assisted by Pastor David Howlett. Interment followed in the Green Grove Cemetery in Adair County, MO.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
