IVY LUELLA DENNISON
(4/14/1918 - 4/6/2013))



Ivy Luella Dennison, 94, of Memphis, Missouri passed away early Saturday morning, April 6, 2013, at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

The daughter of Lewis and Della Lough Fox, she was born April 14, 1918 in Clark County, Missouri.

She married William Dennison on April 6, 1935 and to this union three children were born; Shirley, Patricia and Henry. He preceded her in death August 9, 1986.

She was a homemaker and a farm wife her entire life, moving to Memphis after her husband's death. She enjoyed quilting, flowers and most of all her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, two brothers, four sisters and three granddaughters.

She is survived by two daughters; Shirley Clatt of Memphis and Patricia "Pat" Potter of Hamilton, IL, a daughter-in-law Caroline Dennison of Memphis, Missouri, a grandson Donnie Dennison, and a great grandson, Aaron Mallett. Other survivors include Brian Mallett, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Scotland County Cancer fund and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St. Memphis, Missouri 63555.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 1 PM, at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis, with Reverand Robert Moseley officiating. Pall Bearers were Jeffrey Clatt, Mike Rahmus, John Jason Clatt, Rob Hurless, Jack Holverson, and Donnie Dennison. Interment followed in the Sands Cemetery in Clark County, Missouri.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
