F. Elaine Antal, 79 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at her home on Saturday, November 16, 2013.
The daughter of Virgil M. and Mary Elaine (Keen) McColley, Elaine was born on November 17, 1933 in Shelby, Indiana. On November 2, 1952 in Schneider, Indiana, Elaine was united in marriage to Joseph Egnatz Antal and to this union six children were born, Joseph E., Randy, Dan, Elizabeth Elaine, Tim, Mark and an adopted son, Duane.
Survivors include her children, Randy Antal and wife, Mary of Lancaster, Missouri, Dan Antal of Queen City, Missouri, Tim Antal of Columbia, Missouri, Mark Antal and wife, Cindy of Lancaster, Missouri and an adopted son, Duane Antal of Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Tinkle of Memphis, Missouri, Jon Antal and wife, Lyndsi of Lancaster, Missouri, Rachel Antal of Lancaster, Missouri, Jennifer and Jeremiah Brogan of Queen City, Missouri, Stephanie Winter of Queen City, Missouri, Lacy Brimer and husband, Cale of Downing, Missouri, Kylie, Joey and Damian Antal of Lancaster, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Sean, Lance, Skip and Larry of Indiana, Zackary and Zoe Tinkle of Memphis, Missouri, Casen and Chayten Antal of Lancaster, Missouri, Morgan VerKuilen of St. Louis, Missouri, Randy and Asher Daimon Winter of Queen City, Missouri, Tennyson Brogan of Queen City, Missouri and Calain Brimer of Downing, Missouri; one grand puppy, Tobi; one brother, Virgil (Mac) (Sonny) McColley and wife, Kathy of San Diego, California; other family members and many friends.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe on December 7, 2011; a son, Joseph E. Antal, Jr. and his wife, Rosie and a daughter, Elizabeth Elaine Antal.
Elaine and Joseph moved to Lancaster, Missouri approximately thirty years ago where he was a farmer and also owned and operated Antal Enterprises. Joe and Elaine also co-pastored River of Life Church east of Lancaster, Missouri since 1984. She was also a member of the Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance.
Elaine was a greatly loved and appreciated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Reverend Colleen Benway of the Full Faith Christian Center in Chariton, Iowa assisted by Reverend Carrol Davenport of Hospice of Northeast Missouri officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial services between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Northeast Missouri and Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance. Burial will be at a later date as the body has been cremated.
