Tigers Open Golf Season at Timber Ridge

Despite the snow lingering in the shaded areas surrounding the playing area, the Scotland County golf program opened the 2013 season on Thursday at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Memphis with a triangular meet versus Putnam County and Milan.

The Midgets took home the victory with a team score of 165. SCR-I's top four golfers carded a combined team score of 191. Milan did not field a full team.

Cody Quint of Putnam County was the event medalist, shooting a four-over-par 38.

Brice Cowell topped the SCR-I scorecard with a round of 41. That tied for runner-up honors with Putnam County's Deion Hunt.

Rounding out the Tigers varsity scorecard were rounds of 48 from Austin Howes and Dakota Elliott as well as a 54 by Tyler Small. Josh Adams shot a 64. Olivia Harris carded a 53 and Keenan Bradley shot a 50 for the SCR-I JV.

For Putnam County, Dylan Heidenwith shot a 42 with Dillon Bradshaw shooting a 44 and Jacob Parker finishing with a 47.

Milan had two golfers compete. Holden Stallbaumer shot a 60 and Jordan Eddy finished with a 62.
