Golf Team Travels to Three Pines Course in Tolona

The Scotland County golf team traveled to Three Pines Golf Course in Tolona on Monday for a triangular meet versus Highland and Palmyra.

Hunter Baggert carded a one-under-par round of 35 to win the event's individual medalist honors. That scored helped Palmyra win the meet with a team score of 174. Highland was second with a 180 followed by the Tigers with a round of 207.

Highland's Chase Wilson shot a 44 to finish second in the individual scoring. His teammates Robert Cox and Garrett Anderson were third with scores of 45. Rounding out the Cougars' team score was Chris Boggus with a 46.

Dakota Elliott led the Tigers with a round of 48. Brice Cowell shot a 50 followed by Austin Howes with a 54 and Tyler Small with a 55.

Other golfers participating for SCR-I included Olivia Harris, Josh Adams, Keenan Bradley and Tristen Hilpert.

Rounding out the first place Palmyra's team score were Trever Dehaan (46), Taylor Leftwich (46) and Mitchell Sutter (47).
