Tigers JV Golfers 4th at Palmyra Tourney

The Scotland County junior varsity golf team finished fourth at the recent Palmyra junior varsity golf tournament held April 8th.

The Tigers carded a team score of 388 to finish fourth in the 10-team field. The squad from Father Tolton won the event with a score of 340 followed by Mexico (363) and Community R-6 (384).

Logan Remley topped the SCR-I scorecard with a score of 86 in the 18-hole event. That was the fourth best individuals core of the day.

Connor McCarthy of Father Tolton won the top honors with a round of 76 and teammate Jack Golden was second with a 82. Caleb Bertels shot a 85 for Community R-6.

Austin Howes finished the tourney with a score of 91, that was just outside the top 10 scores among the 50-plus golfers.

Joshua Gerber carded a 100 for the Tigers followed by Keenan Bradley with a 111 and Joshua Adams with a 115.
