Creek to Play in NMOA High School Basketball All-Star Classic



SCR-I graduate Megan Creek, seen here in action during the 2013 season, will participate in the Northeast Missouri Officials Association High School Basketball All-Star Classic to be held Saturday night, June 1, at Kirksville Primary School.

The Northeast Missouri Officials Association High School Basketball All-Star Classic will be held Saturday night, June 1, at Kirksville Primary School. The girls' game will begin at 5 p.m., with the boys' game to follow.

Scotland County graduate Megan Creek will participate in the girls' all-star game. Other participants will include Ashton Vorkink, Kendyl Blanke, McKenzie Russell, and Nicole Cook of Kirksville; Kiette Mundy of Monroe City; Ashton Luttrull of Highland; Tayler Hedworth of Bevier; Kaelyn Spratt of Marion County; Samantha Shipley of Putnam County; Devin Gudehus of Knox County; Andra Sylvester of Milan; Hannah Trump of Clark County; Liz Linberger of North Shelby; Evie Miles and Megan Hooper of Palmyra; Makay Belt of La Plata; Audrey Freeman of Macon; Caitlin Canote - and Alex Wehar of Cairo; Mallory Haley and Whitney McElhinney of Schuyler County; Shelby Salter of Brashear; and Miranda White - Brookfield. The teams will be coached by Chris Parsons and James Dent of Palmyra and Sara Williams and Emily Powell of Kirksville.

All stars playing in the boys' game will include David McReynolds and Austin Hoewing of Canton; Josh Allen and Ty Stillwell of Linn County; Kyle Kovar and Luke Ross of Clark County; Aaron Barrett of Cairo; Dylan Hruska of Atlanta; Lee Tague of Knox County; McKenzey Pipes of Bevier; Cason Spratt of Marion County; Tyrone Walker of Macon; Brandon Davie of Highland; Tyson Grgurich and Kevin Hennke of Kirksville; Alex Porter of Bucklin; Dalton Shively of Schuyler County; Chase Hilsabeck of Marceline; Kendall Smith of North Shelby; Hayden Housman of Brashear; and Wyatt Proper and Andre McClure of South Shelby. The teams will be coached by Andy Anderson and Cliff Hark of Canton and Brian Leeser and Mike Dilligard of Highland.
